I’m hosting a discussion on on sustainable food issues with food politics writer Jill Richardson this Thursday evening in San Francisco, along with writer-farmer Jason Mark from Alemany Farms. If you saw the movie “Food, Inc.” and care about changing our food system, Jill’s blog “La Vida Locavore” is one to follow.

Jill will talk about what current important food issues we can all participate it in right now. including food safety and school lunch reform Jason will provide some tips on how we can get involved in food production in our own backyards.
